I just found out that i will be spending my summer in Almost, Maine -- not the city, the play. I've been cast in Circle Theatre's production of Almost, Maine. The show is a romantic comedy featuring 8 different scenes that all take place on the same night in a small town in northern Maine. There are four people in the cast and we each end up playing several different characters. I can't believe how excited I am about being in this show. This will be the perfect way to spend my last summer in Grand Rapids before i head off to Ann Arbor. Show opens June 7. Start making your plans to come see it now.

I am really excited to be spending the summer with you in Almost Maine. I must admit at auditions I was quite taken aback by your obvious talent - here I was thinking you only moved sets! Kidding. But you really are quite accomplished. I was actually thinking that I wasn't going to be cast, because we are pretty much the same type and you were not only great at auditions, but younger than me, the curse of being old. It seems you do alot of things well and am looking forward to meeting you again and spending some time getting to know you better.
I also have connections in Ann Arbor, My sister has a law firm there and has been in residence since 1972. Her oldest daughter is an actress and is currently in graduate school at Case Western University. Her younger sister just moved back from France with her new husband and is living in Dexter. They are really nice people and I am sure you will meet them sometime during the run of the show. They are really good people. My partner Neil's nephew (Jonathan) and his betrothed (Katie) just bought a house in Ann Arbor where she will be starting her second year of dental school. It is truly a small world. Again look forward to working with you.
