Apple Store Woodland opening this month

Being the dork i am, i stopped by Woodland mall just to see how they were coming along with the new Apple Store. Last time i was there they had a big black wall with the Apple logo in front of where the store would be. This time, you could actually see the front facade. They had a sign up saying that they are opening on Saturday June 25th. Looks like the Grand Opening begins at 10:00. The website says they will be giving away T-shirts to the first 1000 guests was well as having a sweepstakes to give away an iMac. I have no choice but to stop by.

Umm...if you don't wear t-shirts, what's the point of getting one? Just saying, it's kind of a waste of a t-shirt. Of course you could always donate it to one of the homeless people that lives downtown. I'm sure they'd love a free t-shirt. I, in fact, gave one of them my jacket the other day. It's quite a humbling experience. Or you could frame it. And put in on your wall as a sort of new-agey art piece. Hmm....

Actually, i wore a T-shirt last Friday. I put on the ADC Tiger shirt that Apple sent me. Wearing those things isn't as bad as i remembered. I think i'll keep it. Anyway, it would kind of weird seeing a homeless person with an Apple T-shirt. They don't strick me as likely buyers of iPods. I bet homeless people are more of a Linux-type crowd.
